Purpose
Teens Involved is a major event that our teen group participates in every year. It is put on by Word of Life International and is designed to help teens discover, develop, and sharpen their spiritual gifts and talents for the ministry. Our teens are encouraged to try new ministry opportunities or improve in current ministries within the church. They can then present their ministry at Teens Involved to be judged and learn how they can improve. Ultimately, it is our desire that our teens will use their God-given abilities to serve others and glorify Him.

Schedule
There are 3 levels of Teens Involved (TI) that are held throughout the year: Area, Regional, and International. Our teens participate at the Area and Regional levels annually, and at the International level every 3rd year at Word of Life camp in Schroon Lake, New York.
Teens Involved 2013:
- Area TI – March 15-16th
Location: Monclova, Ohio
Cost: $15 – Unlimited entry
Quizzing on Friday Night
- Regional TI – April 26-27th
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Cost: $16 – Unlimited Entry by invitation from the Area level
Quizzing on Friday Night. Overnight Stay.
Important Info
ALL teens in our group are encouraged to be involved in some way at Teens Involved. Teens in 7th-8th grade minister at the Jr. High level, while teens in 9th-12th grade minister at the Sr. High level. It is important to begin preparing in advance for TI presentations. All teens are encouraged to have a coach/accompanist for their ministry. Depending on the category they minister in, teens will need to turn in appropriate paper work at a designated time. Information will be handed out on Wednesday nights in teen group. Check out the documents below for additional info on this year’s TI!
Teens Involved is NOT a competition. Each category in TI is designed for the purpose of serving others and glorifying God. In preparation for TI, teens need to fill out a Presentation Information Sheet for each category they are involved in. This helps the teens to keep the right focus as they use their spiritual gifts and talents at TI. See the document below to be best-prepared for ministry!
