The Drama Team has been an active ministry of Monclova Road. Recently, the team performed a few thirty minute drama presentations, including Rabbit Chasers, Five Minutes to Live, and An Appointment on a Clear Morning. Also, members of the drama team are involved with the children’s Christmas program, adult Christmas cantata, Easter program, monologues, and other short presentations.
The mission’s statement of this ministry is, “To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unsaved and encourage believers in their Christian walk through the visual, aural, creative, and interactive means of drama. The drama team strives to make God the center of performances as well as rehearsals.
The church has been blessed with talented and capable volunteers including actors, make-up artists, sound technicians, lighting technicians, costumers, prop masters, stage managers, and other helpers, willing to volunteer their time. Plus, the members have portrayed a heart to serve the Lord through this avenue of ministry.
