Women's Events

We host several special events throughout the year designed specifically for women ages 18 and up. Below are some of our annual and semi-annual events. Please check the church calendar for specific times throughout the year.

	Ladies’ ConferenceOur annual ladies conference is an awesome, one-day event designed to strengthen and challenge women in their specific roles and ministries. The event consists of a light breakfast and catered luncheon, guest speakers, special music, and workshops on a variety of topics. Women from ages 18 and up, from all churches, backgrounds, and stages in life, can benefit from this dynamic event. 	Craft NightOur ladies have met for an evening of crafting, testimonies, food, and fellowship. Everyone brings a snack to share and their own craft materials – whatever you love to do! The church provides the table space and beverages.
	Mother-Son FellowshipAll mothers and sons (ages 5 and up), both young and old alike, met in the gymnasium in May 2011 for our “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” Mother-Son Fellowship. They enjoyed hot dogs, baked beans, and chips on a buffet line, followed by a variety of “baseball park” snack foods. Activities  included a 7th-inning stretch, special music, and other surprises, as well as a devotional specially geared to the mother-son relationship. 	Mother-Daughter BrunchOur last mother-daughter event was held in May 2012, and was a brunch entitled From Dollhouses to Mansions. This event was designed for ladies and girls (kindergarten and up). Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and granddaughters came for personal testimony, special music, and a message a message from special speaker Jennifer DeFriece. Guests also enjoyed a delicious catered meal, door prizes, games, and a display of unique dollhouses. Look for our next mother-daughter event on the church calendar.
	Ladies’ OutingsAt various times, the MRBC Women’s Ministry coordinates fun events for ladies, such as progressive dinners, recreational outings (bowling, etc.), and even weekend retreats. Each event has the ultimate goal of giving women a break from the busyness of life to enjoy Christian fellowship and refreshment. These events are great opportunities to build friendships and to reach out to the women in our community with the love of Christ. Look for upcoming events such as this on the church calendar.
