We host several special events throughout the year designed specifically for women ages 18 and up. Below are some of our annual and semi-annual events. Please check the church calendar for specific times throughout the year.
Craft Night
Our ladies have met for an evening of crafting, testimonies, food, and fellowship. Everyone brings a snack to share and their own craft materials – whatever you love to do! The church provides the table space and beverages.
Ladies Conference
Our annual ladies conference is an awesome, one-day event designed to strengthen and challenge women in their specific roles and ministries. The event consists of a light breakfast and catered luncheon, guest speakers, special music, and workshops on a variety of topics. Women from ages 18 and up, from all churches, backgrounds, and stages in life, can benefit from this dynamic event. Mother-Daughter Banquet
Our first mother-daughter banquet was held in May of 2010. The event was designed to deepen the relationship between mothers and daughters of all ages. Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and granddaughters gathered for personal testimony, special music, and a message on blessings passed down through generations by Monica Vernot. Guests also enjoyed a delicious catered meal, door prizes, games, and a traditional cake walk.

Mother-Son Fellowship
All mothers and sons (ages 5 and up), both young and old alike, met in the gymnasium in May 2011 for our “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” Mother-Son Fellowship. They enjoyed hot dogs, baked beans, and chips on a buffet line, followed by a variety of “baseball park” snack foods. Activities included a 7th-inning stretch, special music, and other surprises, as well as a devotional specially geared to the mother-son relationship. Ladies Fashion Show
In 2009, the MRBC Women’s Ministry hosted a fashion show, promoting modesty and beauty among Christian women. The event had a category for teen girls, college & career-aged ladies, moms, middle-age women, and seniors. Our women gathered for a fun and unique evening to share fashion tips, learn Biblical principles from a guest speaker, and have a fun opportunity to dress up and fellowship with one another. Ladies Outings
At various times, the MRBC Women’s Ministry coordinates fun events for ladies, such as progressive dinners, recreational outings (bowling, etc.), and even weekend retreats. Each event has the ultimate goal of giving women a break from the busyness of life to enjoy Christian fellowship and refreshment. These events are great opportunities to build friendships and to reach out to the women in our community with the love of Christ. Look for upcoming events such as this on the church calendar.
