Purpose
The purpose of RefresHer is to function as a forum for Bible-based book/video study, prayer, and fellowship among Christian women.
Need
The goal is to meet the needs of women who are interested in going deeper into the Word of God with their sisters in Christ and foster the development of spiritual growth. Second, the goal is to encourage one another, build friendships, and aid those who would benefit from the availability of a women’s Bible-bible based book/video study in this community.
Schedule
RefresHer sessions wil be held three or four times a year, from September – May with a break from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Each session of six to eleven weeks long will meet on the MRBC Campus for a series of study based on an endorsed book or Bible-based book/video study material. Attendees shall be encouraged to be present at the weekly gatherings, but are under no obligation to do so. The gatherings will primarily consist of coming together for a light breakfast, prayer time, a devotional or video, and discussion time.
Ladies’ Bible Study
“The Virtuous Woman: Shattering the Superwoman Myth” by Vicki Courtnry, explores Proverbs 31, revealing the heart and character of a godly woman and showing how to become a woman of worth, wisdom, and purpose.
This study will begin March 19 and go through May 7, 2010, with the exception of April 2.
Childcare is yet to be determined.
