Mommies and Munchkins is a positive and caring group designed to nurture expectant mothers and mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire — to be the best mothers they can be!
This group was created so that as moms, we can share our experiences, our children’s milestones, the ups and downs of motherhood, and everything in between while keeping a Christ-centered heart.
Mommies and Munchkins is about:
- Providing opportunities to strengthen our Christian faith
- Providing social activities and act as a support group for moms
- Providing activity opportunities that enrich the lives of moms and their children
- Providing a network of mos that can get together, talk, and support each other
- Providing support for moms of all ages
Who may attend?
Mommies and Munchkins welcomes expectant moms and moms from all denominations and backgrounds.
What are our goals?
It is our prayer that Mommies and Munchkins be able to provide a warm, caring, and accepting environment, building and strengthening friendships among women, providing support and encouragement in our role as mothers, and enriching members socially and spiritually. Through all these, we hope to prepare each mom to face the challenges of parenting, marriage, home, community, and personal needs with the help of friends and Jesus Christ.

What do we do?
Mommies and Munchkins includes times of food, fellowship, and personal enrichment. Special speakers present topics of interest each week such as parenting, nutrition, and more. Activities include either a workshop from the speaker, a fun game, a seasonal craft, or a get to know you activity. All the while, your children are being cared for by caring volunteers.
What does it cost?
Nothing! Mommies and Munchkins is free. A childcare donation is requested but not required.
Where will my children be?
Separate rooms are provided to accommodate different age levels. Age-appropriate activities are planned for each meeting. Children are given the time to interact with each other and express themselves through play, music, crafts, and through learning a lesson focusing on Biblical principles and values.
Bring a friend!
Mommies and Munchkins is an outreach ministry open to every mom in the community! If you know an expectant mom or mother of preschoolers from birth to kindergarten who could use a lift, be sure to tell them about Mommies and Munchkins!
