Mommies & Munchkins
Mommies and Munchkins is a positive and caring group designed to nurture expectant mothers and mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire — to be the best mothers they can be!
This group was created so that as moms, we can share our experiences, our children’s milestones, the ups and downs of motherhood, and everything in between while keeping a Christ-centered heart.
Moms-On-Call Program
The purpose of the “Moms-on-Call Program” is to assist new mothers in their new role and in all facets of care giving in their home. This ministry educates and encourages new mothers by partnering her with a mother and faithful member of Monclova Road Baptist Church who is committed to answering questions about mothering and offering encouragement through phone calls and visits.
New mothers may enter the program between the end of their eighth month of pregnancy and when their child turns three, and mentoring moms should be successful mothers who can commit to “being on call” for six months.
